The Purpose of the Pilgrim MTA
MTA is the abbreviation for the title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt. She is three times admirable as Mother of God, Mother of the Redeemer, and Mother of the Redeemed. In this picture, Our Lady brings Jesus, her Son, and invites us to take his place close to her.

+To lead all people to Jesus, her Son. From the cross, Christ gave us his mother so that we may also experience her as mother and educator. As the Mother of God and of all of us, Mary will work miracles of transformation in hearts to live, like her, a life in imitation of Christ in loyalty to the Church.
+To acquaint many people with the MTA, to draw people to Schoenstatt’s spirituality, and to help people become aware of the graces of the Schoenstatt Shrine through the Pilgrim MTA.

“Shouldn’t we undertake, as a sacred duty, to
recite the rosary every day as one of the greatest
means of salvation in these times?”
Father Joseph Kentenich |
+To pray the rosary, a powerful means to transform hearts of peoples and nations, winning souls for God.
“To recite the Rosary is nothing other than to contemplate with Mary the face of Christ.”
On the Most Holy Rosary, Pope John Paul II, #3

Blessings of the Pilgrim MTA
The Pilgrim MTA goes on pilgrimage from home to home. If we invite her into our home, give her a place of honor, and trustingly turn to her in all our needs, she will give us special graces as she does in the Schoenstatt shrines. She will truly give us a home and shelter us in the heart of God, she will transform us, and send us forth to be apostles for Christ’s kingdom.
The Grace of Being at Home
Mary offers us all her love, shelters us in her motherly heart, and helps us to be at home with God. In her loving faithful heart, we experience the intimacy and protection of a true spiritual home. We are filled with happiness, security, and peace, as well as a spirit of prayer.
The Grace of Inner Transformation
The Blessed Mother is our mother and educator. She offers us the help we need for our spiritual renewal and perfection. She leads us on our way toward sanctity in everyday life. She guides us in our decision-making and keeps us faithful to our commitments. Mary leads us to true inner freedom; she heals our hearts and fills us with faith, hope, and love. More and more, she transforms us into true followers of Christ and teaches us genuine childlikeness before God the Father.
The Grace of Apostolic Zeal and Fruitfulness
The more we become like Mary, the more we share in her mission. Mary offers us the grace of apostolic zeal so that, like her, we can bring Christ to those around us, live our Catholic faith among people living for false values, and courageously lead loved ones homeward to the heavenly Father.
